Abadan power plant with a total area of 100 hectare situated on 8th km of Abadan-Mahshahr road. In the first phase, 25 hectare of it was allocated to establish four gas units generating 50 mega watts. All the constructional works of project were divided into two technical and non-technical buildings with the following specifications:
-Technical Buildings
Include 21.5 × 186 m turbine saloons with the relevant cranes- two control buildings , each with an area of 430 m², repairs saloons, main store and fire station with the relevant storages, diesel house buildings, pump house, water treatment plant, chimneys foundations, main and auxiliary transformers and the foundations of all of the subsidiary equipment, execution of all canals and paving internal roads and execution of watching towers and the place for unloading fuel etc.
-Non Technical Buildings Include 370’000 m³ of earth filling, building walls round the power plant, office buildings , and canteen with an area of 2000 m² , execution of internal and access roads , execution of the celled and outdoor stores and parking garages .
